If it isn't sitting just right in the guide rails then the friction will be stronger than the motor, which will cause the window to stop. When you're pulling you're helping the motor along so that the window continues all the way up. You can try spraying the guide rails with Teflon- or silicone spray, but eventually you'll have to have the window realigned.
there should not be colors in your window but it it is cause by moister (water)
Possibly the padding from the window runners is defective. This will cause the glass to move slightly, which could cause it to crack.
it is possible on the 1995 Ford Explorer that a burned out fuse will cause the power windows to stop working. Check the power window relay in the engine compartment relay bank near the battery or the power window fuse in the fuse panel on the driver's side of the interior.
yes, in 2008 due to window bolts that could come loose and cause the window to drop and shatter on 2003-2004 Vibes and Toyota Matrix. Electronice windows only. If I remember correctly it was only in the driver door??
Check the safety switch at the top of the driver's door control module. If on, it locks all windows except driver's.
Yes, it is not going to cause any problem
Its possible you:ve blown a fuse, I would check them first.could also be window motor or your main window control
My rear passenger window sometimes gets stuck in the down position. To roll up the back window I need to SLAM shut driver side door really hard. The driver side door has the master panel for all windows. Sometimes the master switch button for the rear window gets stuck in the down position and by slamming the door it cause the back windows switch to pop up to it's normal position. This is only a temporary work around and does not fix the problem. My car is 1995 and I have doing this procedure for the past 2 years. It works for me and I no intention on getting it repaired permanently.
Bad fuses, bad connections, or bad window motors.
Bad regulator
Cause the window motor is out
You installed the switch wrong.
