I have a 1997 Mazda B2300 that was having the same problem. When I went to have the emission done it failed. One of the codes on the print out was a possible issue with the Idle Control Valve. I replaced it and that has solved the issue of the high rev when I shift. Still not passing emission though. Hope this helps.
manual stick shift BMW what cause to shke when i change in to the first gear
There are several things that can cause your manual transmission not to shift out of first gear or reverse. The most common cause is a broken shifting fork.
bad synchronizer
where is the transmission shift solenoid located on a 2001 Mazda protege
when my shifter was doing that Mazda replaced the shifter cable which cured it - they said it would eventually have seized
A squeaky stick shift on a Mazda Protege likely needs greasing. It is recommended that you use a silicon grease for this.
Nothing, as the 2008 Challenger wasn't available with a manual shift.
well depending on the age of the motor it could be burning oil, and if that is the case when you use your gears to slow down, everytime you shift into a lower gear it revs the engine up which if it was burning oil would cause smoke to come out the exhaust.
A car with a manual or stick shift transmission.
try transmission sensors
If you shift the gear stick to the right, it is on manual. Then by pushing it forward and releasing you shift up; by pulling backward and releasing you shift down.
That sound is the ABS self test, it does it everytime you take off for the first time.
