If your reffering to WW2 then....Great Britain was too well prepared and experienced, don't forget the British invented the Royal Air Force and Navy, they were the greatest in the world not to mention the British S.A.S the most copied and sucesfull soldiers in the world still even today. ( even German troops in WW2 based themselves on the British S.A.S) Britain had every single bit of Britain coverd and ready for such an invasion, they only way in was by the air. also don't forget the British home guards ( the every day mums and dads of Britain were trained in Gurella Warfare) that's just the average mums and dads! lolIf your reffering to rite here and now in the present, the Germans would invade, they would both battle. alot of other countrys allied to Britain or countrys Britain still has some influenece over from the British Empire days would join in with the British in fighting the Germans, while this is happening the British S.A.S would simply send a small 4 to 12 man S.A.S team over to Germany to capture Germanys leaders ( after all this is what the S.A.S do and are the worlds best at doing so) and hold them hostage until Germany back down. the war would stop and the British would keep the hostages and use it against Germany for attacking them.

The British have always been at the fore front of War and acheived by far more than anyother country, mainly by using intelligence and brut force. Look how small Great Britain is but it still managed to invade and rule more of the world than anyother country by a long way. u cant argue with history!

Did King Edward invade Britain and wales?

Britain is an island on which England, Wales and Scotland are on. Edward I was King of England. He invaded both Wales and Scotland, so he invaded other parts of Britain, but it would be incorrect to say he invaded Britain, as he was from England and was England's King, succeeding his father, Henry III.
