If a pesron has kidney disease with lupus, one would not want to tax the kidneys by making them filter out more toxins. Not a good idea.

The physican would tell the patient to folow the treatment regimen that was prescribed, reduce stress, avoid UVA and UVB light and rest when needed. Lupus affects each person differently and the manifestations can change over item.

I have lupus and what many would call the most severe side effect causing my kidneys to be involved. I live a very normal life. The only exceptions to this are that I have many doctors appointments and blood work scheduled throughout my month. I also get into bed around 7:00 pm and am asleep by 9:00 pm to wake at 6:30.

Each patient would need to get advice from their attending physicians to know if they can take Tamiflu. It is likely okay, but different medications and treatments could influence a determination of if and when to use anti-viral medicines when you have a serious underlying disease like Lupus.
