Typically this would be peripherals in the context of PCs. Peripherals are things such as the keyboard and mouse (input), and the monitor and speakers(output).
A storage device is both an input and output device. I has to be if it is to store something like data. Consider that a hard drive is a computer memory device, and data is both written to and read from the hard drive during normal operation of the computer. If the hard drive did not have the capability of input and output, it would not be useful in its application in the computer.
Without input devices, the only way to reprogram computers would be to pull them apart and rewire them. In modern computers with integrated circuits that would be impossible. Input devices, such as keyboards, make it much easier to reprogram computers with new instructions and/or data.
There are many types of peripheral devices, but an example of three would be a printer, scanner, and web cam.
They are considered as Input Devices or HID (Human Interface Device)
Central Processing Unit (CPU), memory, and Input/Output ports. Some would say the hard drive, but not all computers have one. The CPU executes program instructions. Memory stores programs being executed and data those programs are using. I/O ports allow the computer to talk to its peripherals such as keyboard, screen, printer, and disk drives, as well as other computers through networks.
there would be no communiaction or socailistaion on the internet
This would depend on what type of computer you are discussing...- For a personal computer (Desktop) or a Laptop this would be a keyboard followed closely by a mouse or touchpad.- For a tablet this would be the touch screen.
It would undoubtedly crash. As would any modern aircraft.
The wheel and axle would be multiplying distance.
It is put that way for you to set up your computers. The makers of the computers thought it would be easier for owners of the computers when the port lines of programmable port devices were automatically put in the input mode when the device is first powered up or reset.
You would be in ancient Rome. There weren't computers back then, so don't worry about it.
