The earth is continuously exposed to the sun, and has been for 4.5 billion years. If you mean, what would happen if the earth stopped rotating for six months, one side would burn off and the other side would freeze.
it did
We'd probably be dead.... gah.... now, I'm gonna have nightmares, about this! :(!
Everything else in the solar system would orbit the earth instead of the sun. And it would take months to fly from London to Australia :)
ha ha well nothing would happen because there was no life on earth.
the earth would be destroyed
the earth would die
the earth would be incomplete If you were to remove the Earth's crust, you would expose the layer underneath, with is the mantle. The mantle is composed of hot, liquid rock called magma. However, if the magma were to be exposed by the removal of the crust, it would just form another crust. The surface would cool, by radiating energy into space.
the atmosphere would collapse and we would all shrivel up and die due to the extreme amount of heat that we are now exposed to. eg. water would boil and many volcanoes would re-ignate

The volturi would kill them and whoever knew about them
