I believe that it would be a good thing if retailer-organized channels dominated consumer product marketing because it reduces costs and provides customers with great value. It also reduces buying and selling cost, which would be great because it would allow the company or firm to make more money. On top of that the results would be that the final consumer will end up paying less for the products. So, it sounds like everyone would benefit from retailer-organized channels.
