Well, it would certainly perish. I am assuming you are thinking of a way to transport an aquatic snail. If you are not going on a long journey get a good size fish bag from your local aquarium shop. Fill it with just enough water to cover the snail add air and off you go. That will keep a snail going for 3 hours or so. If kept in an enclosed tube it would run out of O2 and food....and croak.
Sure, why not?
The snail will still grow even though it lives in an aquarium, so yes the snail will out grow it's current shell and need a new one.
No!
First, take it out of the aquarium. Then pour salt on it. they will melt when in contact with salt.
Probably snail eggs.
Probably snail eggs.

Turn off all of the power in the aquarium, use an algae scrubber thingy, and wipe the eggs off.
Snail Maze happened in 1986.
We found a snail in our lake and added him to our Gold fish Aquarium. He is doing great. He roam's all over the tank not to mention, he keeps it very clean. My girl's named him Fatso.
Yes, A snail is actually a great pet to add to an aquarium. because it cleans the inside of the tank and that is how a snail eats.
