If the vampire stays in the sunlight for a long time, all its needs become red, and it will die.

Vampire sims can bite other sims if their relationship is high enough. They also sleep in coffins and if another sim looks in the coffin while the vampire is sleeping it can give them a heart attack and kill them. They cannot go out in the sunlight or they burn up and die.
