Why do they pressurize airplanes?

Well a simple answer would be that if a plane is not pressurized, on high altitudes or just very high in the sky, the plane will expand like a balloon and if it expands to much, big problems happen and I don't really know how it is pressurized but the air inside the plane is usually very different than the air outside the plane, at high altitudes.

Why are aeroplane cabins pressurized?

Airplanes often fly at great altitudes, of 10 kilometers or more. People would have serious trouble breathing at that altitude.

Why you suppose that airplane windows are smaller than bus windows?

Airplanes are often pressurized. A large window would be excessively difficult and expensive to make it strong enough to not blow out. So they use small windows on airplanes.

Why do airplanes have pressurized Cabains?

Because the air pressure drops the higher you go. If the cabin wasn't pressurised to ground level - all the passengers (and crew) would eventually suffocate !

Why are airplaines pressurized?

Because the pilots, staff and passengers would pass out from lack of oxygen at the altitudes that aircraft fly best. Aircraft cabins are usually pressurized to 8,000 feet altitude equivalent. This also reduces passenger inner-ear discomfort.

Do airplanes have any way to charge a phone?

Some aircraft have power stations in the passenger seats ( a plug in) but you would have to bring your own charger.

What would happen if the airplane wasn't invented?

without airplanes we wouldn't go to the places we want. and it is important to business people because they travel a lot. without airplanes the world is nothing

Can monkeys go on airplanes?

Yes. No airline I know of would allow them to ride in the passenger compartment, though; they'd have to be caged and placed in the cargo area.

Is the coolant reservoir on a 1997 Chevy lumina non-pressurized or pressurized?

A pressurized coolant reservoir would have a thread on cap which acts as the " rad " cap

Can a cheetah run as fast as a airplane?

Depends. There are airplanes that can fly as slow, or slower than a cheetah's top speed. But there are plenty of airplanes that will be several times faster than a cheetah. A regular passenger plane would Cruise at about 8 times faster than a cheetah.

What would happen if a pilot tested positive for drugs?

He would get fired, lose his certificate for a certain length of time, and probably never get a job flying airplanes again.

What will happen if gravity didin't exist?

If gravity did NOT exist, then we all would be floating in mid air and would float into things, like airplanes. Plus, then if we fall, we would be in outerspace. COOL!
