In the great outdoors, a human outside at minus 2 will use several things naturally to keep themselves warm. The hairs on the body would stand up, forming a blanket of warm air to insulate the skin.You'd shiver,beacuse this rapid contraction of the muscles quickly heats the body. The most amazig tthing your body will do is a process known as vasoconstriction. The veins and arteries would be made to contract away from the top of the skin, so no excess heat is lost. All of these processes are regulated by the hypothalamus in the brain. It is responsible for homeostasis, which means maintaining a constant internal enviroment.
