Most likely, replace the ignition coil packs.

no, it warms by compression heating.
Remove the cowling from the top of the engine. They are under there.
are there freexe out pluges on rear of block on a 2.3 engine ford ranger
check ur pluges and wires but also check ur starter
If you didn't replace one spark plug wire at a time you may have mixed up the firing order.
the last time i changed the spark pluges in my 86 subaru gl wagon, i took the engine out. seriously, it needed a clutch at the time.

(1) disconect battery ( 2) under hood on passenger side remove 2 10mm boltes (3) pull ecm out disconnect 4 wire pluges
Without an engine size we guess but if you can't see them then they're under the center plastic cover of the engine. Cover will have coils,wire boots, module & plugs under it.
try checking your 02 sensors
Check valve timing and for correct valve operation.
