Most common high idle issues are leaks in the vacuum system.
Engine vacuum leak.
If it is high enough to be splashed by the crankshaft it would foam up. That would cause a lack of oil pressure and engine damage.
Flooring the gas petal.
The engine oil is overfilled.
It is intentional, it is called high idle. It helps warm the engine to proper operating temperature.
High torque starter
Could be, A very high mileage/worn out engine, The PCV system not in working order,
You would first need to measure the schematics. It would be impossible if its too wide, though if it is too high, ?you can have a hood with the engine sticking out.
In a normal engine, no. In a high performance engine, maybe. In a normal engine, no. In a high performance engine, maybe.
Check the alternator.
Not really feasible. The engine and transmission are removed as an unit out the bottom. You would need a way to lift the car high enough to get the engine out.
The speed of a car such as this would be limited, ensuring that the engine does not get damaged. If the speed were too high, the internal forces and hear would be enough to cause permanent damage to the engine.
