Either that or he is very insecure and needs to be constantly reminded that his girlfriend loves him. I saved the best for last (it may not be true), but your boyfriend could be into a threesome and he may want this girl to become friendly with you so you are comfortable with the idea when he brings it up (that's my wildest opinion!)
