Any number of things could cause this. Start with: * Loose items in the trunk * Spare tire not fastened securely * Shocks * Worn suspension components (look for broken / split rubber components) Lastly, all suspension systems have 'limiters' that keep the wheels from traveling too far (hitting the underbody) - if you are hitting large bumps then the system is working as designed.
