Probably a clogged fuel injector or fouled/burned spark plug. Less likely: valve problem.
It could.
Check your spark plug connections and spark plugs. If necessary, replace them.
coil pack, ecm pcu
A burnt valve will cause the cylinder to either be week or misfire completely. Depending on how much compression is present. Sometimes after reaching crusing speed it feels as tho the cylinder is pulling it's weight, this is not true. The only way to correct this is to pull the head and do a valve job. I would reccomend doing both heads at the same time if applicable.
May be you have a misfire?
Yes is can if your clutch becomes on fire. make sure to replace your clutch every other day.
I would make sure power is getting to the fuel injector use a noid light to test it. You may also want to check the fuel pressure also the intake manifold may have a leak that can cause a misfire as well. Glad your compression is good. That is a sure sign its something simple.
It is a misfire code for # 5 cylinder. Check to make sure plug wires are on tight to all plugs. Consult manual to figure out #5 cylinder probably change that plug at least
a worn valve will make it back fire
Have you checked the injector? Try switching the plug and/or wire to another cylinder to see if the misfire travels with them. That check engine means cylinder 4 misfire so I would still check the gap and make sure that the spark plug is good even though they are new another suggestion is the coil pack. And a much less likely suggestion is that you lost compression but that's easy to test just take cylinder 4 spark plug out and put a compression gauge in and manually turn the motor over by the crankshaft.
Yes, very much so. If you can check via a code reader which cylinder is misfiring try swapping the plug in that cylinder to a different cylinder and see if the misfire shifts with it. Failing that it could be a cool pack or ignition lead at fault.
you might check the coilpak
