Several things could cause this: First off I have to ask have you replaced or done major work to the engine or changed the ECM/ECU/PCM/PCU whichever you choose to call it if so it may be the immobilizer. What happens is you would start your car, and it should start normal, and a few seconds later it will die. Most cars would show a flashing light on the instrument panel, most of the time a picture of a car and a key, if it is this the ECU needs to be reprogrammed by a car dealer Another common cause is that the ECU or possibly even the ICM (Ignition control Unit) need to be replaced But there are many reasons for this

you need to tell us more. sounds like it starts some of the time but not all of the time. what type of weather is it when you have the problem. what type of weather when it starts. could be a dampness issue. a cheap battery with low cranking amps. a short in the ignition switch. id try the ign switch replacement next. they just don't make em like they use too.
