IF MEMORY SERVS ME RIGHT-THE PASS KEY SYSTEM WILL DISABLE THE STARTER FROM OPERATING IF IT DOES NOT READ THE PASS CODE FROM KEY-NOT SURE IF THATS WHAT YOU MENT BY NOT STARTING -BUT IF YOU HAVE NO STARTER ENGAGEMENT AND STARTER CKS GOOD-CK YOUR PASS KEY SYSTEM-SHOULD BE A PASS KEY RELAY IN THIS SYSTEM TOO CK THAT ALSO If there is a passkey problem the security light will flash. Many times one of the grounds from the battery will be loose or if the terminal is stripped out on the battery. Check the motor and chasis ground for tightness, not just the battery terminal.
