Cam Bearings
When service engine light is on on a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer, the problem could be a faulty thermostat, a circuit range performance problem, or any other problem.
The intake gaskets are none to leak antifreeze. It is a real common problem with the vortec engines. Other then that there goods engines and have really no other problems.
For my chevy, which is an 01' with 3.8 liter engine for me it was a fuse. I had the car looked at but when one of the other fuses needed to be replaced that particular one was taken out. Once I got it put back in I had no problem with this.
You have another problem other then the knock sensor if the engine will not start and run. A knock sensor will not cause the engine not to run.
The MOST COMMON problem with the engine is that the INTAKE GASKETS leak water into the oil pan and destroys the engine bearings if not found soon enough. Other then that, It is a very good engine. They also have alot of problems with the fuel pump going out.
The 95 engines do not have a carburetor, They are fuel injected / TBI Throttle Body Injection and there is no ajustment on them what so ever. You have other problems. Is check engine light on ?? If so then have engine scaned with an engine scanner and you will find your problem. I have a 95 Chevy 5.7 and its got a carburetor. I really don't know anything a bout them though. Sorry
wat other motor can i put in my 2001 chevy blazer
Yes, the 3.7 Chrysler motors suffer from an oiling problem. The oil gets sludged up and does not flow thru the motor leaving the lifters without oil. this causes the rocker arms to be loose failing and falling off of the mounts. This is a know problem with a lot of Chrysler motors. In my experience most problems with the 3.7L or any other Chrysler engines can be attributed to lack of oil changes or overheating the engine.
The idle is not adjustable. You have other problems if it's idling to fast are to slow. The throttle plates are calibrated / preset at the factory. Is the check engine light on ?? If it is, then you need to have the engine scanned with a engine scanner to check the emission system and sensors. It will also help your idling problem after you repair the problem that made the check engine light come on. If you don't find your problem in that area. then PLEASE ask your question again.
You can't. It is not adjustable it is computer controlled. It should NEVER be tampered with. You have OTHER problems causing a idle problem. Vacuum leak will cause your problem. You really need to have the engine scanned with a scanner to see what is wrong.
Chevy Lumina.
If you have a crankcase evacuation system on it other than a standard PCV valve and breather, such as a vacuum pump and oil separator or header collector EVAC system, and you are still having the problem such as blowing out the dipstick tube and such then you may have another problem such as a bad ring, bad cam bearing, or oiling problem such as leaving the oil pump dry or cracked pick up tube.
