The human body wouldn't be able to function without the small intestine unless it had another organ that performed many of the same functions as the small intestine.
The small intestine's primary purpose is the absorption of nutrients from food. The mouth and stomach break down food into bits small enough to be absorbed by the small intestines. We use the energy that is contained in the food that's been absorbed to power the human body and all of its biological functions.
So, to answer your question, without the small intestines, the human body would be DEAD.
our human body will be more wider & disordered without the intestine & the digestive tract would bw smaller
I guess you would be full of doo-doo.
Nope, not a chance
They are good, they are part of your small intestine, without it you would be possibly dead.
If you mean, "can you live without your large intestine?" then yes, you can. One must wear a Colostomy bag to collect the waste that leaves the small intestine. The large intestine also plays a small role in reabsorbing water and ions, so one would have to make sure they are not getting dehydrated or experiencing symptoms of low ion concentrations. If you mean "with only small intestine -- no stomach, etc.", then no, you cannot.
then u couldn't get the waste out of ur body and u would dye If you had a digestive tract without a small intestine, you would not be able to absorb the nutrients that the body needs. You would also be unable to digest fats, and the carbohydrate and protein digestion would be incomplete. The small intestine is a very vital part of the digestive tract and the body in general, so life without it would be quite difficult.
The small intestine absorbs digested food into the blood.
If a child is born without a large intestine it cannot live obviously, where else would it's waste be transported through?
Yes, humans can live without a small intestine. See the related question below for how this can be accomplished. Also see the discussion section of this question for an interesting account of how one person managed to do this and the complications experienced.
The function of your ileocecal valve is to prevent waste from your large intestine from flowing back into your small intestine. This would cause the waste juices to get mixed in with the nutritional juices.
I would say that the stomach is anterior and superior to the small intestine.
if the human stomach was cut in half you would see blood cells, the small intestine, the large intestineand lots of blood :) and y do u want to know
