Money, of course! When people get lots of money thy think they can by things to make them happy, or you could just say "they try to by happiness." Really, after their money is gone and they bought what they thought would make them happy, the happiness goes away and the things they bought get boring. Then they don't have much more money to by what they think makes them happy again so they aren't happy anymore. It is as simple as that. So don't let that happen to you or someone you love.
Money can buy you things that make you happy but happiness as a feeling, no money can not buy that, that has to come from within. Example, if you love to cook and see a great cookware set and you buy it, that can make you happy. If your a fisherman and want to live on a boat, that can make you happy. Money is related to material things. Yes, you can donate money and feel good that you helped a cause but eventually that money buys something for someone. Happiness is a state of chi, inner peace, that can only be achieved if you see the beauty in your inner and outerself and that which is around you, without fear, judgement or anger. Not to say you can't be afraid, or you can't judge or be mad, but inner peace will not be felt, if you are consistantly in those states.True, but really the phrase should be, "Money can be exchanged for things that generate happiness". Money ITSELF is useless, just plastic or metal, but its exchanged for things like food, clothes, entertainment, etc which creates happiness.I dont know when I get my cheque at the end of the month im pretty pleased. The saying Money cant buy happiness applies to very few people.Money can potentially buy happiness but only if the person with the money knows hes priorities and what makes him or her happy. If you do not know what happiness is and what makes you happy than you cannot buy it for you would not know what to buy.
