In all seriousness, if you ant to break into the games industry, develop useful skills that the industry needs. A great start is to become familiar with a development kit, such as UDK (Unreal Development Kit) or if you want to start a little simpler, try Unity 3D. If you need to 3D model assets (objects, items, characters, environments, etc) I suggest you use Modo 601 which plugs directly into Unity and they both play well with eachother.

Modo, like Unity, has a huge number of tutorial videos. Like Adobe's business methods, both companies are very lax on piracy when it comes to learners and students since when users go pro, they tend to buy whatever they're comfortable with, regardless of how much it costs (which is how Adobe Photoshop became dominant in the market: everyone learned to use it then everyone brought it - it wasn't necessarily best but it was the easiest to use).

Learn to script, code, develop a basic knowledge of 3D concepts like modelling, rigging, deformers, UV'ing, texturing, polycount and so forth. It also helps if you have an understanding of human psychology and design theory.

The more you know, the better, basically. When you apply for these kinds of places, it helps if you can show a basic game demo you put together (linking it on your resume).
