The best Answer i Can give you is don't Do it. You get better Gas Mileage and More Performance from Fuel Injection. I can't even think about how you could do it. Buy a Carbeurated 350?
first of all u would have to buy a different intake for the 350 rip out all the fuel ijection system including computer unbolt the high pressure fuel pump its usually mounted on the frame u would have to buy a different distrubuter that's basically all u need to do and make sure u have about 3-5 psi of fuel pressure running to the carb if there more pressure then that u might want to buy a fuel regulator or it will just flood out its prettty easy to do it took me 5 hrs to do it on my buddies car after u have all the parts u should be good to go
You can change your 1986 305 cubic inch pickup engine from a carburetor to fuel injection. The problem with doing so is the cost. It might cost more to do the change than it would to purchase an engine.
If it had a carburetor it would be on top of the engine but it has fuel injection there instead.
Yes it has a carburetor. An engine with fuel injection would be a fuel injected engine.
fuel injection
no the whole top end is different ,and if your buying the injection stuff new ,it would be cheaper to do a engine swap.
