Your question is listed in "Plumbing" but you are talking about copper wire and a lug ? IF you are asking what type of solder ? The answer would be 60/40 rosin core . Dont use acid flux or large globbs of rosin like in plumbing . How big a lug ?? General electrical, electronic low current or a big car battery terminal ??? General rule is : #1 surfaces must be clean #2 A tight PHYSICAL connection must be made first . #3 Heat the area to be soldered before soldering . Higer grade solder like 50/50 ( more tin) or Silver solder can be used for higher current applications . Lead solder tends to melt easier which is good going on but not so good if your connection is heating up .
copper
To join copper wires or pipes to each other.
Soldering can be used to make a reliable connection between two pieces of copper wire that is less likely to develop a fault than other ways of making the connection.
Electrical current flow in a copper wire is measured with an ammeter. It is either clamped onto the wire or attached at one end to monitor the amount of current moving through the wire.
If the copper wire really is pure copper then the only element in the copper wire is copper (Cu).
Flux is used to keep metals from oxidizing. Solder will not bond well with copper-oxides which are formed when copper is exposed to high temperatures (ie a soldering iron) the flux prevents the oxidation. If you were to solder without flux the solder joint would be weak and possibly completely nonconductive.

Ductility
how much copper is in copper wire
Strip the wire to desired length. Then hold the wire horizontally and hold the soldering iron underneath the stripped part while holding the solder on the top of the wire. When the wire gets hot enough it will suck the solder into the wire
bare copper is pure copper, while tinned copper is having light coating of Tin over it, preferred where soldering phenomenon is req. while the bare copper is good conductor then tinned copper.
No. Copper wire is a solid
