A person would weigh more on Saturn than they do on Earth due to the lack of gravity on Saturn. This is true for every planet in the solar system. For example, on Saturn an adult weighing 150 pounds would weigh 159.63 pounds on Saturn.

Weight is a force and so is affected by the acceleration due to gravity by the formula Force=mass*acceleration.

As the acceleration due gravity is greater on more massive planets (on Saturn it is 11.08m/s^2, compared with Earths 9.8m/s^2), the force and so the weight is also greater on Saturn.

Because Mars is less massive than the earth therefore gravity is "weaker". You would weigh about one third of what you weigh on earth.

Because it is smaller, thus containing less gravity.

Because Saturn has more, albeit slightly more, gravity than Earth.

If you weighed 100lb on Earth you would only weigh 106.4lb on Saturn.

Saturn has slightly more gravity at its "surface" than Earth does. To give some perspective, a 100-pound person would weigh 106.4 pounds if they could stand on Saturn.

How much more gravitational pull on Mars than on Earth?

There is less gravity on mars, it has only 37.6% of earths gravity. If you weigh 100lbs on Earth, you would weigh 37.7lbs on Mars. Mars is smaller than Earth so the effect that gravity has on anything there is lower than it is on Earth

Do you weigh more or less on Venus?

9.7% less than you weigh on Earth, 138% more than you weigh on Mars.

Which planet would you weigh less that you do on earth Saturn Venus mars or Jupiter?

This question is harder than it might seem. The answer is: You would weigh less on both Venus and Mars. You would weigh more on Jupiter. As regards Saturn, you could weigh more or less depending where on the planet you were. For example, at Saturn's equator the effect of the planet's rotation would be enough to reduce your effective weight to less than your Earth weight.

How many times more would you weigh on Jupiter than on Mars?

You would weigh about 6.68 times more on Jupiter.

If a student weighs 100 pounds on earth how much more or less would she weigh on Pluto then mars?

Is there gravity on Mars?

Yes, but it is much less than on Earth. If you weigh 150 pounds on Earth you would weigh just 56.5 pounds on Mars. The specifics of the gravity on Mars is tjat it is 62% lower to be more precise. That means that Martian gravity is 38% of Earth's.

On which planet would you weigh less than you do on earth?

you would weigh the least on mars. (take in account Pluto is not a planet any more)

Is mars second earth?

Venus actually has more earthly characteristics than Mars does. It would be more likely (even though it is unlikely) for Venus to be a second earth than it would be for Mars.

Does mars weigh more than earth?

No, because it is only slightly larger than Earth's core, but is off an almost equal density.

Because mercury is less massive than earth things there would weigh?

they would weigh more. more gravity= more weightadd. With a smaller gravity, they would weigh LESS.
