Their is a lot of different things that are needed to Mod a controller. When I Modded mine I just bought a kit and the whole tutorial came with it and the parts. I am sure you can find a tutorial on how to do it for free like the one I got. They have it on their website for free at gamersoption.com but I just bought the kit from their and now I love my modded controller.
