They were being made in the early 1950's. How much earlier or later than 1952, I don't know. But they were made in 1952-53.
No Model 8205. There WAS a Model 820B. sales@countrygunsmith.net
I beilieve 1952-1953.
Your Stevens Model 820B in 80% condition would probably fetch $80.00 to $100.00 at the right time. Most of the Stevens 22 calibers and shotguns were considered utility guns and do not hold a great attraction for the serious collector. They are a fine product with a long and proud history. Hang on to your J. Stevens Arms and Tool Co. firearms. They will serve you well and when they need repairs the parts are available widely and at very reasonable cost.
== == I bought mine used when I was in highschool in about 1981. I can't verify this but I seem to remember that the proprietor of the store said it was a "1967 Savage."
Not if they were manufactured prior to 1969.
The Savage 820 model is an older gun that was made long before the current accessories. No one ever made any after-market accessories for this model, it is not noted the year of manufacture.
around 100- 150 bucks if its really nice
1954
I have found three model 820b 12 gauges that were sold at auction. The true value of any item is whatever someone is willings to pay. All 3 sold for an identical $150. The market seems to be steady!!
Try e-gunparts.com
In average condition about $125.00- spaceavenger
Not unless you do it poorly. It's not a collectable firearm, so it's value is in it's utility, not it's originality.
