They came in 4 or 6 cylinder. The base model's engine is a 4 cylinder but the 4x4 and Prerunners can have either engine.
It doesn't have a cabin filter. They came out with cabin filters in the Tacoma in 2005.

Yes, on a 2001 Tacoma it was a blown 5 amp fuse in the separate harness dedicated to the trailer lights. I did not realize Toyota Tacoma's came with a separate harness and fuse block just for the trailer lights/harness (this is separate from the under dash (#1) and under hood (#2). On a 2001 Tacoma , it located underneath the driver's side rear jump seat next to the factory tire jack.

three of my brakes the 2 front and the drivers rear passed the Delaware brake test fine but the passengers rear came up only 20%. i put a new wheel cylinder on and the pads are likenew. the master cyl. is fine,no leaks. i give up what s left.
