The black death went on for a long time, and there are many different arguments about when it started and finished. But most accounts tell that the Black Death came to a steady decrease and a final stop in 1358.
Technically, Bubonic Plague, which is believed to be the Black Death or the plague that was the scourge of Europe in the 14th century, killing between 75 million and 200 million people, has never ended as it exists today. But, the widespread epidemic ended somewhere around 1352.
It stopped in 1353 or 1354, though it did crop up in smaller outbreaks occasionally throughout the next few centuries. It started around 1343.
