A serial number is the best way to verify how old a Selmer Signet Soloist trumpet is. As a general rule, these horns were first made in the late 1960s, around 1967 to 1969.
It had to have been made between 1975 and 1980.

Selmer guitars are no longer manufactured; I can not tell exactly, but any selmer is worth at least 15.000,00 US. If your do have this one to sell, you are about to have a stack of money.
Depends on the model detail, the original retail is 1200+, now should worth maybe 600 depends on the condition.
Coin silver Selmer's are stamped on the main body "Coin Silver" Matching serial numbers on all pieces prove they are all solid silver.
Signet was a brand used by Selmer on a range of instruments including guitars. According to wikipedia the Signet line finished in 1970. According to Vintage Guitar Price Guide the brand was assigned to acoustic flat tops made in Japan for Magnovox/Ampeg/Selmer from 1972 to 74s
