Ariens....Go to Ariens.com/support Put in the 6 digit model number and serial number from the back panel of the snow blower, under the pull cord
Model 526, snowblower, Serial number 005754M
Oscar Wilson.com bought all the parts for the Murray snowblower. Contact them and give them your model number and serial number of your snowblower and if they have any left they will take care of you.
Ariens allows to find their info online for free. Tou have to simply have to have the gumption to have the model and serial numbers. Why do say thaey want this inf; simply want to know their customers. new, used, future, etc. They do insist on the serail number ( as briggs insists on Type numbers) but I have worked on them long enough to know how to at least fake it partially. below somewhat I will link some info.
Currently (2010) Ariens tractors are produced by Husqvarna at the Orangeburg SC factory, they also produce some of the Craftsman tractors, Poulan tractors etc. Ariens zero turn mowers are produced by Ariens at their Brillion, WI factory. Husqvarna, who is owned by Electrolux, yes the vacuum company, owns AYP, this is who builds the "Craftman" brand machine. I worked for years for a Ariens Distributor and was not aware of AYP ever building machines for Ariens. One way to kinda check it out is look at the serial number plate, what town does it show it built in ? NC, AYP...Brillion WI Ariens factory.

these were made in 1982 and 1983.
tha date is on the tag directly below where you found the model number. If its not there, you need to take the serial number into sears and they can tell you. tha date is on the tag directly below where you found the model number. You will find a link below and will need the model number beginning with 915, the last three digits match the deck and engine. I used 24001 as a fill-in for serial number since about any number below 25000 will work.
You will need the 6 digit model number to get the correct deck at Ariens, but they do make most of their owners and parts manuals public, as well as some service manuals. If it is one of the current Zoom model, it begins with 915. You can usually fake the serial number; I make one sufficienlty low to be included. If it is an older EZ Rider, same applies. See link below to get there.
go to sears.com type in model number and serial number, most of the time they will show you a parts break down/ note belts are like every thing else you get what you pay for. a good belt will cost about $20
If you go to the MTD website, their is a customer service tab you should click. After that you could fill out the search criteria for your snowblower, or click on the summary section #5 "Can I download a manual and/or part list?" You will need both the model and serial number which should be easily found on you equipment. Hope this helps!!
