I'm pretty sure they never put a v6 in a fox body. thy had the 5.0 302 and the 2.3 4cyl that came in the lx cars.
***Fox Body Fuse Diagram***Try going to: www.ponyperformance.com/foxfusebx -- I have a Fox body 1993 notch, and we got the diagram off of Autozone.com.......
Mustang Fox Body. They are a bit blocky but very very fast.
A Ford Mustang 1979 to 1993 Fox Body.
It can be improved by adding newer parts to it
The Mustang traditionally shared common chassis with other vehicles. The 1964-1/2 through 1973 Mustang shared a common chassis with the Ford Ranchero, Ford Falcon, Mercury Cougar, and Mercury Comet. The Mustang II (1973 - 1978) shared a common chassis with the Ford Pinto and Mercury Bobcat. The 1979 - 1993 Mustangs shared a chassis with several vehicles, including the Ford LTD, Ford Fairmont, Ford Thunderbird, Lincoln Continental, Lincoln Mk VII, Mercury Capri, Mercury Cougar, Mercury Marquis, and Mercury Zephyr. It wasn't until 1994 that the platform used by the Mustang became proprietary to that vehicle, as the Fox platform was upgraded to the SN95.
It was the name that ford gave to the chassis platform that it used for the mustang. It was shared by many other ford vehicles. Such as.1978-1983 Ford Fairmont1978-1983 Mercury Zephyr1979-1993 Ford Mustang1979-1986 Mercury Capri1980-1988 Ford Thunderbird1980-1988 Mercury Cougar1981-1982 Ford Granada1982-1987 Lincoln Continental1983-1986 Ford LTD1983-1986 Mercury Marquis1984-1992 Lincoln Mark VIIThese were the fox-3 platform, I believe. The 94-04 mustangs used the fox-4 platform but the body was designated sn95 which is how it is referred to. Ford used animal names for different chassis platforms back then.
depends on the year of the vehicle, but im assuming its a fox body mustang, so it would be under the passenger side kick panel
What Year? The fox body mustang locks are easy to change. Take the interior door panel off and on the back side of the lock you have to disconect the linkage from it. Then there is a clip holding it to the door. Just pull that clip off and the lock will pull straight out.

There are absolutely no body parts that interchange with a 1991 mustang and 1991 cougar. The mustang is a fox body chassis and the cougar is on the mn12 chassis. The older cougars I believe pre 1988 were structurally similar to a mustang, by this i mean engine bays very similar and rear ends interchangeable. As far as the bodies they did not have interchangeable parts.
Pretty much anything with fit in the Fox body so I would say yes.
The firewall in a 1989 ford mustang is the metal separation panel between the passenger compartment and the engine compartment. The part that's usually referred to as the firewall is the engine side of that metal wall that separates the two sides. Different things are attached or put through the firewall, such as the brake master cylinder, the wiring harness wires from inside the car, the heater core. Other stuff that could be attached to the firewall would include the wiper motor, brackets for the clutch and throttle linkage. Here's a link for some more information on these cars. They're also known as a "fox body" mustang. http://www.onlymustangfords.com/fox-body-mustang.html Hope this helps.
