For engine, transmission and drive train 1997-2001. But there are some exceptions especially between US and Japanese made cars.
The ONLY 2 years that will work is 96 and 97 4L60E transmission. If it is a 4-wheel drive then it must be a 4-wheel drive transmission. If it is a 2-wheel drive then it must be a 2-wheel drive transmission. 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive transmissions will not interchange.
A tranny shifter cable may be compatible in the years "91 thru 2000. I would go to your local car salvage that is what they're there for.
just about all from 1995 thru 2001. except transmission and car computers.
TransmissionWell certainly you can use a transmission from a comparable year Tacoma or 4Runner, but as for the compatible years other than 2001 your local wrecking yard can help.
anything with a 4t60e . its the most common front wheel drive gm tranny
Sure most new or near new (Especially in the last 15 years) cars that have manual gearboxes are front wheel drive.
You didn't mention what years they are but, there is a different filter for the 2 wheel drive and the 4 wheel drive.
The 3/4 tons MUST have the 4L80E put in them.1/2 tons MUST have the 4L60E put back in them. The Reason is because of the computer system that's in the truck will not operate Any other type of transmission. These are the years that will interchange as long as they are 4-wheel drive transmission. 1992 to 1995 then it jumps to 1998 to 1999. 96 and 97 will not work. bellhousing is different.
It depends how much you Drive, how many Kilometres per year you do. Maybe every couple of Years it should be changed.
The year of the tiger is compatible with a dog and horse and incompatible with a goat and an ox
Depends on the problem. Is it still under warranty? Drive train warranties are for 5 years or 60,000 miles.
