Savage began producing the Springfield Model 67 in the 1950s. It was a pump action budget grade shotgun that ceased production in 1989.
The Springfield name was used from 1920 to 1948 but I can't find a listing for a model 87. there are 2 Springfield 87A .22 rifles currently !!/2/05)listed on Auction Arms one is id ed as a Springfield Stevens and the other as a Springfield 87A i own a Wards Western Field model 87 tube fed semi auto .22 that appears to be identical to these two rifles i know it to be at over 50 years old. I also have one and it is dated to 1968
1. He most likely has passed on by this time, since those devices were invented and used nearly 70 years ago. 2. Springfield rifle? The US manfacturing plant entitled the "Springfield Armoury" closed down in 1968. The most famous Springfield rifles; when discussed by people, are the model 1873 and model 1903. Those two rifles are called "Springfield Rifles." In this 21st century, the '73 model has nearly disappeared from the vocabulary of people, but the model 1903 Springfield is known by most gun folks. So, when you say "Springfield Rifle", most people are going to immediately think of the "Model 1903 Springfield Rifle" which was adapted by the US Army in 1903 (the cartridge was adapted in '06). 3. It is highly doubtful that someone would invent a night vision device for an '03 rifle. 4. Unless you're thinking about today's "Springfield Rifle Company"; those folks were established in about 1973 or so. They have absolutely nothing to do with the REAL US Government Springfield Rifles! They, like today's current "Henry Rifle Company" (started in about 1993) are simply (and legally) using those names as a MARKETING PLOY to gain business. Neither TODAY's Springfield or Henry Rifles are "REAL" Springfield or Henry Firearms. They just want your business; and might prefer that customers believe that they're the original and famous gunmakers (when they are not).
Model 49's were made from 1962 thru 1978.
I have one of these shotguns. I estimate it is 45 years old.
Winchester made there model 1906 pump action .22cal rifles from 1906-1935.
It has been estimated that Meteor Crater was formed about 50,000 years ago.
Winchester has made many rifles over the past 100+ years. You must provide the caliber and action type it you want assistance.
About 4.5 billion years ago.
It varies - from a few centuries to a few billion years. But its not a meteor until it hits an atmosphere (a matter of a few seconds to minutes).
Well, Enfield covers a HUGE amount of territory- several hundred years, rifles, handguns, and shotguns- with the odd machinegun thrown in for good measure. If your Enfields are muzzle loading rifles, then some of the civil war forums may be of help. If yours are bolt action military rifles, thenwww.surplusrifle.com has some good information on the SMLE rifles.
Browning has made a variety of rim fire bolt action rifles over the years. Without providing the model number/name or a description of condition, the best I can do for you is a price range of 100-1000 USD.
