A CNA is a certified nursing assistant and is not an actual nurse. They do things like taking vital signs and assisting nurses. A RN is a registered nurse and has the able to give medications, assist the doctor, and draw blood.
CNA is a much shorter amount of training and you wouldn't be able to do all the things a RN does. Many people become CNA's on the way to getting their RN because it is a good way to get on the job experience.
whats the differents between cna1 an cna2
You can become a CNA first then study to become a nurse.
The average RN is allowed three to four CNA's being that some tasks such as baithing/grooming can need the use of two people.
He could have taken the CNA test and passed it. RNs are above CNA. when you come from another country.. you could be a doctor where your from but the us doesnt transfer that title until you pass boards in the states. so he may only have a cna certificate right now until he passes his board for his bsn rn in america.
if you want to become an RN and for some reason you are reluctant to join the RN classes then its a good idea to start your career as a CNA. CNA training classes take between 2 - 4 weeks and you can get a job almost immediately. The good thing about starting your career as a CNA would be that it will help you better understand your roles and responsibilities in the medical field. if you are a kind and caring person you should be able to do good and advance your career to become a RN. all in all you should consider CNA as a stepping stone into the medical career field and after that the possibilities are endless. Hope that helps
It would be very helpful to take your CNA before your RN...I am currently in my CNA class and I also jobshadow at the hospital with my cousin that is an RN. So I get to see if from both ways and it does help a lot when I am following my cousin around and only being 17 and knowing all the medical terms is also quite helpful so she doesn't have to re-explain everything in a "watered down" language.
You will need to take teaching classes to get certified.
MD is a medical doctor, they went to medical school. An RN is a registered nurse, they like the doctor went to college but did not attend medical school, instead a special nursing school.
Yes. they are going to use CNA's and RN's from now on.
Depending on the type of license they have. e.g. RN, LPN, CNA, HHA etc
There are many types of businesses nurses can open. One example of a business is starting a CNA school. CNAs are in big demand and CNA schools make a lot of money. I teach at a CNA school and the owner makes over $8000 per money! Anyone can open the school but you must have a RN over the program, and LPN/RN teaching the classes. There are a lot of regulations to starting a CNA school.
