When I am on filter and vacuuming it seems like it is coming right back into the pool through the jets do you have any idea why?

Probably the fine particles. I was told to fill above skimmer and vacuum to waste then rinse. May take a few times.

This sounds like flocculate, or clarifier, The next time you vacuum the pool gently vacuum the scum at the bottom to waste, Do not put it through the filter. you will lose a bit of water but it should top the problem from recurring if I am right.

I just changed mine today on my 95 T-100 3.4 eng model. It's located right under the driver door I used a # 14 wrench to crack the two lines one coming in and one coming out, hold the filter using a #17 wrench I believe it was, and then a #10 bolt for the clamp that the holds the filter in place.

If you cant fit remove the tire. it is a pain in the butt if you just try to reach in through the top or bottom.
