When I open a PNG file it opens it in adobe fireworks rather than windows photo viewer how do I change this?

Start > Default Programs > Associate filer type (2nd option) > scroll down the list until you get to .png > Click it, then click 'Change program'. Choose the program you want png files to open with and click OK.
