You must have replaced a part. Either the Driver, Sprocket, or backrim. Your ratio isn't set right. with a 16 tooth driver you have to have a 32 tooth sprocket (i think. it might be 36) with a 9 tooth driver, you have to have a 25 tooth sprocket. i don't know how many spokes you need in your rim for either one though. go to a local bike shop and ask about it. sorry i couldn't help much. i havent messed with bikes in a while.

it wont just come out. you need to pump the brake pedal.
Please ask this question again, and let us know what the problem is with the foot pedal - that is, what is it not doing correctly?
Press the pedal in again
No. Some of it is lost as friction.
more than likely its your brake switch on the brake pedal. pull up on the brake pedal and see if it goes off. if it does you need a new brake switch if it doesnt you might be able to adjust it. if adjusting it doesnt do it your still going to need to replace the brake switch.
I'm having same problem. What did you do?
Clutch plates are sticking - get your clutch checked you might need a new one
Air in the brake system. Bleed the brakes again.
Attached to the brake pedal itself... if the pedal goes up towards the dash, you'll see it at the top of the pedal by the linkage... it's a simple contact switch. If the pedal goes into the floorboard, you'll have to open the hood and see where it goes through the floor... again, just a simple contact switch.
Use a helper to pump the Ford Focus brake pedal several times. While holding the pedal down, open a wheel bleeder valve and let air and fluid out. When the pedal reaches the floor, close the valve and pump the pedal again. After several times, the air will be out of that area, move to another wheel and repeat the process.
turn key halfway without starting the engine, press on the gas pedal slightly. this should work. keep tapping the gas slightly if it doesnt reset . do not press the gas pedal fully, you might flood the engine.
