The battery is still going until you open a door.
The radio should go off when you open the door to get out. Maybe a relay?
the hold light on on my mazda truck b 2600 stays on or flashing and it shut the engine off
YOU simply shut off the power switch to the radio and then turn off the ignition switch and when you restart the truck it should come out as long as the radio power is off
When the key is off on a lumina, you can press the volume button in and the time will show on the radio display. I bet your volume button is stuck in!

I have a 2002 Chevy S-10 pickup and the radio will stay going for about 5 minutes after shutting the truck off. But if I have the door open and turn off the engine the radio instantly is turned off. This is to save on the battery, the radio takes out the battery fast and then not have enough power to start the truck up. I have been there a few times myself.
Does your truck radio have a power switch on it ? If so, then just push and hold.
To take the shuffle off of your radio on your truck, the steps will vary depending on the type of radio. For example, you might press the "source" button and choose the "external source" option and then press the "shuffle" button on the menu. This causes the shuffle to turn off if it is currently on. You might also try removing the CD or external sound system to shut down the shuffle.
Sounds like a faulty headlight on-off switch.
It's turned on and off by the central timer module on the back side of the inside fuse panel. THat module control the time the radio stays on with the ign shut off.

The fan should turn off after the engine is shut off. If it stays on, the radiator fan relay has failed.
