Check the fuses first. Your owner's manual should tell you where they are. Most likely its the fuse. If not, check the bulbs because on some vehicles a bad bulb may break the entire circuit.
They are separate circuits, separate fuses and separate swithes. Check the fuse and the tail light bulbs.
I dont know because i dont have a FORD Check your brake light switch on the back of your brake pedal for adjustment.
Brake pedal switch, wiring, bulbs, bad trailer harness (if there), fuses...
check your bulbs
brake lights dont work
Check all the brake lights and dont forget the one behind the back window. That should fix the problem.
change the brake lights check the fuse check the brake light swtch
Check turn signal switch. Pull back lighty on turn signal lever and brake lights will come on. Replace switch inside steering column. The green and yellow wires you see at the bulbs are the ones that control the brake lights and turn signals.
Check the fuse, the bulbs, and the brake light switch.
all my lights work except my break lights, when i push on the peddle they dont go on can you help me?
The right brake light does not work on 1999 Ford Windstar. Tail lights and blinking light works. Changed bulb more than once, changed the plug in where the bulb goes but it still does not work. The tag lights are not working either.
Did you replace the fuse? have you checked the circuit board well the lights go on cause they tend to short out often
First check if bulbs and fuses are good and see if the back lights come on when you turn on the lights. If everything works and the bulbs and fuses are good then its most likely the brake switch on your brake pedal, its usually the only thing wired to the brake pedal. If its not that you might have a short somewhere but usually its either fuses or the brake switch, both are cheap and easy to change.
