Because Mormons believe that God the Father is the Father and creator of ALL THINGS, including you, me, Jesus Christ, and Satan. Therefore we are all brothers and sisters. Just as you and I are brothers, Jesus is our brother, Satan is our brother, and Jesus and Satan are brothers. The difference is Satan was rebellious and tried to take the power of his Father, and therefore was cast out. We don't close our prayers that way because Satan lost all the opportunities and privileges that come with being a child of God when he rebelled.
Heavenly vs. Satan was created in 1991.
By becoming too proud to worship the Heavenly Father.
In some people's opinion the modern bible describes the fight of Zeus and Kronus. think of it this way. Zeus is God Kronus is Satan Zeus casts the Kronus(Satan) and the titans(fallen angels) out of the heavens and into Tartarus(Hell).
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the 'Mormon' church) believe that the devil (also called Satan or Lucifer) is a very real being. He is the enemy of righteousness and strives to lead us away from God. Mormons believe that men have power over Satan. Satan cannot force a mortal man or woman to do anything, he can only deceive them and tempt them to turn from God. Mormons believe that Lucifer was once an angel in heaven, but disobeyed God and then was cast out of heaven and became the devil. When he was cast out, some of the host of heaven chose to go with him and have become his minions. Mormons also believe that although Satan does not have a physical body, he looks like a man. He doesn't have red skin, horns, and a tail, nor does he look like a monster or a serpent. Check out the "Related Links" to learn more about what Mormons believe about the devil.
God, our Heavenly Father, is the most powerful. He created the universe and all of mankind. He provided a Savior to atone for our sins so that we might recieve salvation. Satan has only the power of temptation. He cannot create life, he cannot be in the presence of God, he cannot even force men do do anything. The Bible says that God cast Satan out of heaven - if Satan was more powerful than God this could not have happened.
He was trying to trick him into making him somebody powerful- but Jesus knows his heavenly father would want him to do things honestly.
He is an angel who opposed Satan. He is Prince of the Heavenly Hosts.
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that God is our Father in Heaven, and that He is the creator of all things. They believe that Satan is a son of God who was disobedient and 'fell from heaven' to become the devil. You can learn more about what Mormons believe about God and Satan at the "Related Links" below.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that Lucifer (Satan, the Devil) is the father of all lies. He is the enemy to God and righteousness. He strives to lead people away from truth. Mormons believe that Lucifer was once a son of God and an angel in heaven, but was cast out for rebelling against God and seeking to usurp God's power and authority. He seeks to tempt people away from God. Mormons believe that as Satan has no physical mortal body, mortal man has power over Satan (meaning that nobody can use the exuse 'the devil made me do it.) They also believe that Satan looks like a man (not as a beast or someone with red skin and horns.) Check out the "Related Links" to learn more.
While Mormons believe they are the true church, I think most churches feel that way about their own church. The LDS (Mormon) Church does not believe that other religions are from satan.
