In a healthy adult, 3000mg of acetaminophen is the maximum daily dose.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist how much is alright for you to take. This also depends on what other medications you are taking, since drugs like hydrocodone and oxycodone are often combined with acetaminophen.
Adult Women 310-360 milligrams daily Adult Men 420-460 milligrams daily
Tylenol contains acetaminophen. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen must not exceed 4000 mg ('daily' means 24 hours). It is not recommended to take more than 1000 mg of acetaminophen at a time. The interval between 1000 mg doses should be about 6 hours. 500 mg doses can be taken more frequently, e.g. every four hours. Each Tylenol 500 gelcap, etc, contains 500 mg of pure acetaminophen. So, the daily maximum is 8 doses of Tylenol 500, not more than two doses at a time. The less, the better, as acetaminophen is not good for the liver.
Normal maximum dosage is 4 grams (4000 milligrams) for an adult
One adult aspirin tablet contains 300 milligrams of aspirin.
For infants or toddlers, follow the dosage instuctions by weight for infant or child formulation acetaminophen, and do not use beyond the recommended time frame. For an infant, this is a relatively low-pain procedure. For an adolescent or adult male, it can be quite uncomfortable , but adult dose of acetaminophen should be fine . If the pain is great, consult the surgeon.
As far as is known, no, at least for an adult.
Creatinine of 1.0 would be in the normal range. Creatinine levels in the blood range from 0.6 to 1.2 milligrams (mg) per deciliter (dL) in adult males and 0.5 to 1.1 milligrams per deciliter in adult females.
Yes, when I broke my ankle the doctor gave me 200 milligrams of ibuprofen, and I am a 165 pound human adult male. A 165 pound adult male can handle 200 milligrams of ibuprofen A 20 pound puppy cannot
Please don't try to do this. Tylenol (aka Acetaminophen) can be deadly; it's perfectly safe if you stick to the recommended dose, but the dangerous dose is only about twice this. The problem for you is this. 10 mL of pure acetaminophen would weigh a little over 10 grams; this much is about three times the recommended maximum daily dose for an adult. Obviously Tylenol 3 will not be pure, but to weigh it out you first need to find out how concentrated your stuff is, and then do some arithmetic. The only safe way is to do what you were told to do - give her 10 mL. If you have a pharmacist (UK=chemist) anywhere near you, he should be willing to give you a 5mL spoon free of charge. 2 of these and you have no possibility of mistakes. If it is currently night-time wherever you are you can give her one dose using an ordinary household teaspoon, but get a proper measuring spoon in the morning.
Vicodin HP is 10mg hydrocodone and 660mg acetaminophen. the limiting factor is the amount of acetaminophen, in which the max dose in a normal healthy adult is 4g (4000mg). 4000mg/660mg ~ 6 so you can probaly take 1 tab about every 4 hours and probably be safe as long as you are a perfectly healthy adult with no alcohol abuse
perhaps a question best directed at a doctor or mental health professional. Is there an adult you trust that can help you?
Nothing will happen seeing as the new Dayquil contains acetaminophen and Advil contains Ibuprofen, which are two diffrerent pain relievers. The Advil is more a physical reliever, helps the aches, while the Dayquil, acetaminophen, works in the brain not peripherally. Just don't take too much. Listen and follow to the prescribed dosages and if uncomfortable take less then advised. In fact many doctors will prescribe both at the same time just at different hourly intervals i.e acetaminophen every 4-6 and ibuprofen every 6-8.
