theres probably a cable running along the driverside fraim try to tug it loose or you may need to remove the wheel and free a broken brake pad

its pretty simply all you gotta do is use an Allen wrench all around the sides of the door panel and take them out... i think theres 2 or 3.. then be easy with it but pull it out and it will let loose
remove the wheel. on the back side of your caliper there are to slide pins that you need an Allen wrench to unscrew. unscrew them until they wont screw any more then pull them out. the caliper will be loose and the brake pads just pull out. slap your new ones in and reverse your steps and your good to go.
check the brake light switch it may have come loose
