On a 1999 Mercury Sable : In the fuse panel by the brake pedal : ( # 17 is a 30 amp fuse for the front wiper / washer )
I don't have a photo, but if you open the hood and look at the right side near where the brake pedal is on the inside of the car there is a long-ish tank that's partially underneath the windshield wiper assembly that has a plastic spout that comes towards the front of the car with a yellow cap. That's where it goes.
The wiper-related fuses are located in a fuse box inside the car, In the footwell, to the left of the brake pedal. Inside that panel, the fuses are numbered. Inside the user manual, there is a table showing which number fuse has which function.
( # 11 ) - 30 amp - for windshield wiper motor , wiper HI / LO relay , wiper RUN / PARK relay , and front washer pump relay ( in the passenger compartment fuse panel , below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal - according to the 2002 Ford F-150 owners manual ) P.S. green color fuse at end of one of the rows
It comes through the wiper cowl on the passenger side.It comes through the wiper cowl on the passenger side.
Look at the middle of the wiper blade, where the arm connects and the blade pivots. They way the two are connected is almost like the end of the telephone wire where you plug it into the wall. It will have a little tab you can depress, then while depressing the tab you pull the wiper blade down towards the base of the wiper arm.
Remove the cowel, wiper blades and wiper motor remove master cylinder only and move off the side ,do not unhook brake lines or bend or kink them from under the dash remove the arm that hooks to the brake pedel and 4 brake booster bolts and wa-la its out
Depress computer button on end of right hand (Wiper) stalk several times until required data is displayed.
Unscrew the bolt that holds the wiper arm on the lift gate. I think that this answer is wrong and that the bolt (?you mean nut) is for removing the wiper motor, not for removing the blade. On an '87 Cherokee there is a clip on the wiper arm at the base where the arm attaches to the shaft of the wiper motor. To remove the arm you depress the clip with a small screwdriver while pulling the arm straight out (pliers to pull). The arm just pulls off. The replacement arm picture looks the same for an '87 as it does for a '95. Therefore my guess is that the '95 arm comes off the same way. Pictures and diagrams in related links area.
