Used Mini's are not hard to come by. Many dealers import these from Japan. High quality used Mini's can be purchased from BMW dealerships as Mini is owned by BMW.

In short, no. BMW is only the parent company, a lot of the parts are made specifically for the Mini cooper. You can put some of the seats from the BMW line in the mini cooper though.

To my knowledge, there has been no FWD BMW made, but that could change in the future. BMW does own the Mini company, and Mini produces Front Wheel Drive vehicles.
