Some people gave claimed that they have traced their genealogy back to Adam. In doing so their findings have been that man has been on the earth approximately seven thousand years. The scriptures nor science are not definite about any dates put forward and carbon dating is not an exact science, neither do we understand the time period of Deity. To this writer seven thousand years would be an acceptable estimate.
