Jesus always had the power, He was not created, nor did He come after the Father. Jesus is eternal and is God and one part of the Trinity. In His time on earth as a human He did receive power from the Father.
Yes God is Jesus father. Jesus called him so.
Saint Joseph was the foster father of Jesus. God was his father.
Well, when Jesus was born, God said He(Jesus) was fully God, and fully man. Jesus is the essence of God because He has the full power of God, though only does what the Father tells him to, but is not the Father himself. The Son(Jesus) the Father(God, or more specifically Jehovah, Yahweh etc.) and the Holy Ghost/ Spirit are three separate beings, while being one. It's confusing, yeah; I know.
God was the heavenly father of Jesus.
Jesus's father is god. Hard to believe
No.. Jehova, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob is God the father and Jesus the Son.
no Jesus's father is God
No, He had no other father, it is as you wrote, God was His heavenly father, and Joseph was his earthly step-father. He had no other father.
God his father.
God chose Jesus to be the father of his people. He didn't chose Joseph because God is Jesus' true father, not Joseph. Mary is the mother of His people and Jesus and God are the father of all people. If the children of Irsael are God's people then God chose Abraham to be the father of His people. If Christians are God's people then God is their Father.
The Catholic Church teaches that Jesus' father is God. That is why the Church teaches that Jesus is the Son of God. Joseph was Jesus' step-dad.
Jesus viewed God as His Father, but not only that but we are told in John 5:18, ".....Jesus also said that God was His father, making Himself equal with God". Philippians 2:6, "Jesus who being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God." Jesus Christ presented Himself to the world as God because He was God. Jesus said to Thomas in John 14: 6-7, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one come to the father except through me. If you would had known Me, you would have known My Father also." Jesus and the Father are one.
