Nikolai Tesla did not invent light bulbs. That was done by a number of other people, each improving on previous ideas.
Nikolai Tesla
Thomas Edison invented light bulbs
No, Thomas Edison is credited with inventing the modern light bulb, not Nikola Tesla. However, Tesla did work on improving lighting technologies and was instrumental in the development of alternating current (AC) electrical systems that made the widespread use of light bulbs possible.
Tesla bypassed Edison's patent by making his bulbs with a bi-pin base instead of the screw in Edison base. It was only the patent for the Edison base that could reliably be enforced at the time.
The person who invented the light bulb was Nikola Tesla look him up.
no
Edison did not invent the first electric light bulb, but instead invented the first commercially practical incandescent light.
Nikola Tesla used working "Light Spheres" in his work shop in New York years before the Edison bulb was invented. They were brighter and more efficient then Edison's bulbs. The only real advantage of the Edison bulb was that they worked with D.C., which is not what we use for power systems today anyway.Tesla's bulbs are now becoming mandated in many countries... we did change the name from light sphere to high efficiency bulbs.
Actually, several other people ALSO invented light bulbs. Edison made a better bulb, and developed the electrical service to support use of electricity. If he had not, someone else would have. Probably Nikola Tesla.
