Ringo Starr started playing drums since he was a little boy in the hospital. The nurse would come around with plastic instruments for them to play with, and Ringo would always choose the drum. He would fight over it. Once he was out of the hospital, he told his family of his interest in music, and his uncle bought him a guitar. Eventually he got a set of drums. His interest in drumming started when he was about five, but it is unsure of when he actually got his first drum set.
Fun- Fact, Ringo Starr is actually left-handed, but his grandmother wouldn't let him write with his left because she was Catholic. That's why Ringo's drumming style is different from most drummer's drumming. He throws left-handed moves into a right-sided drum set.
August 18, 1962 Ringo Starr replaced Pete Best on drums
Ringo was the second and last drummer. be for there was peter best but he dint take the Beatles right and got kicked out
Pete Best was fired by the other Beatles, (actually their manager George Martin), and replaced with Ringo Starr in 1962. He was fired because he was only an adequate drummer and not good enough to play for the Beatles.
Rory Storm and the Hurricanes. Storm reportedly offered to take departing Beatles drummer Pete Best on in exchange, but Best wasn't interested.
Ringo Starr, from having to drum through take after take of the song.
Stu Sutcliff played in Hamburg once or twice and Pete Best was the drummer in take 1 of Love Me Do.

I don't have the answer but am looking forward to finding out - may I ask what makes you think Ringo played at Marine Hall, Fleetwood? *UPDATE: Just checked with a chap who has always lived in Fleetwood - he says YES the Beatles with Ringo did indeed take to the stage at Marine Hall to play - supported by a local band. Apparently though, they were boo-ed off stage by the audience within the first song and the local group took over! Think this could do with more checking :)

The Beatles are one of (if not THE most) popular band in the world. I've never heard of Take That
Are you kidding? HE loves the Beatles!! He's compared to the Beatles every so often. A lot of people say they take after the Beatles!
