In the last book of The Bible, Revelation, the apostle John relates how Jesus, as Michael the archangel, defeats the Devil and his demons and tells of the disastrous consequences resulting from their expulsion from heaven. We read: "Woe for the earth . . . because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time."-Revelation 12:9, 12. A thorough study of Bible prophecies indicates that this victory took place in heaven in or shortly after 1914.
St. Michael the Archangel (unrelated to Jesus Christ) The name Michael signifies "Who is like to God?" and was the war cry of the good angels in the battle fought in heaven against Satan and his followers. Holy Scripture describes St. Michael as "one of the chief princes," and leader of the forces of heaven in their triumph over the powers of hell. He has been especially honored and invoked as patron and protector by the Church from the time of the Apostles. Such battle took place long before the creation of the Universe. His Feast is celebrated on September 29.

They have yet to fight... we know they will in the future though
Keri and Michael never had a fight.
The story of the Archangel Michael arguing about the body of Moses is referenced in the book of Jude verse 9:"Even the archangel Michael, when he argued with the devil and fought over the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him. Instead, he said, 'May the Lord rebuke you!'" ISV2There is no Old Testament reference to this fight but the story is classified as an Extra-Biblical Oral Tradition that no doubt Jude received either by hearing it spoken in his day or by inspiration of the Holy Spirit through a prophetic Word of Knowledge.
To fight for Freedom
Toussaint Louverture
He is mentioned 4 times in the bible as fighting against the powers of evil and is therefore regarded as a type of leader of God's army. We call on his name for protection and to help us to fight against the evil we encounter. Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke Satan, we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host - by the Divine Power of God - cast into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits, who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
